On June 18, 2020 Shanghai was one of the first cities to devastated by the invasion of the Death Angels which caused hundreds of thousands of deaths. According to the Abbotts Newspaper clip and the brief news footage broadcasted in Roger's TV in his store stated "Shanghai Death Toll Immeasurable" which indicates the Death Angels nearly wiped out all of Shanghai's population. While Lee begins to question Roger what happened in Shanghai with Roger assuming a bomb went off.
