Evelyn Abbott is the widow of Lee Abbott, with whom she had four children, Regan, Marcus, Beau and an unnamed infant, respectively. After the Death Angels invaded Earth, Evelyn's primary obstacles were the physical challenges of pregnancy and preparing for the harsh reality of raising a child in a world where survival required silence. On Day 473 of the invasion, Lee was killed after the family's farm was attacked, sacrificing himself to save Regan and Marcus, leaving Evelyn to raise their children on her own. After Regan discovered that her hearing aid emitted a frequency that weakened the creatures, Evelyn was able to kill the remaining Death Angels with a shotgun.
After the attack, Evelyn and her surviving family left their farm and attempted to find a new place to stay and evade the creature. They shortly came across Emmett, a friend of the Abbotts before the invasion, who invited them into his shelter for the night. After Regan ventured off on her own to find an island with more survivors, Evelyn begged Emmett to bring her back. He set out to do so, but eventually decided to help Regan find the island, which the two succeeded in doing. Back at Emmett's shelter, Evelyn, Marcus and her newborn son were attacked by a creature, but thanks to the efforts of Emmett and Regan, a signal was broadcast using Regan's hearing aid that weakened the creature and allowed Marcus to kill it.
Biography[]
Early life[]
At some point in her life, Evelyn married a man named Lee and with him, had three kids named Regan, Marcus and Beau, respectively.
Death Angels invasion[]
Day 1[]
On the first day of the Death Angels invasion, Evelyn was pushing Beau on a swing as Lee arrived to Marcus' baseball game. Later, Evelyn, Marcus and Beau got into their car after witnessing a meteor falling into Millbrook as Lee and Regan went to Lee's truck. Evelyn turned on radio to hear news about what was happening. She was suddenly startled when a Death Angel leaped onto her car and damaged the windows. After avoiding the chaos around them and attempting to keep from being hit by a bus, the car soon crashed. Evelyn, Marcus and Beau soon exited the vehicle and attempted to hide from the Death Angels behind an overturned car.
Lee and Regan, having fled the Death Angels as well, reunited with Evelyn, Marcus and Beau as a Death Angel killed a police officer name Ronnie.
Day 89[]

Evelyn watches in horror as Lee attempts to save Beau's life.
On the 89th day of the Death Angels invasion, Evelyn scavenged for medication for her ill son Marcus. After finding just what they needed, the Abbotts headed home. While crossing the bridge, they discovered that Beau, their youngest son, had taken one of the toys from the store and turned on its siren, alerting the nearby creatures. Evelyn watched in horror as Lee, who was carrying Marcus, sat him down and rushed to Beau, but was too slow and Beau was killed by a creature.
Day 472[]
More than a year later, Evelyn was approximately nine months pregnant. After dinner with the family that night, Evelyn joined Lee as he was working on an amplified hearing aid for Regan. She dragged him away from his work and the couple proceeded to dance while listening to Harvest Moon by Neil Young.
Day 473[]
The following day, Evelyn home schooled Marcus and when she found herself alone, she spent the rest of the day in Beau's old room, crying and reminiscing. Evelyn's water then broke. She made her way into the basement, where she stepped on an exposed nail and accidentally dropped a glass picture frame from Beau's room. It shattered and drew the attention of the nearby creatures. After signaling an emergency by changing the exterior house lights to red as a danger signal, Evelyn noticed one of the creatures walking around upstairs.
Evelyn picked up a timer and hid behind the wall as one of the creatures made its way down into the basement. The timer went off and Evelyn rushed upstairs while the creature was distracted, but she was forced to flee upstairs after she spotted another creature just outside the house.
Evelyn's contractions were getting stronger by the moment. She was forced to lie back in a bathtub attempted to remained calm and quiet while the creatures moved throughout the house. Meanwhile, Marcus ran into the field, where he set off the fireworks, the explosions providing a loud enough noise for Evelyn to scream without being heard and allowing her to give birth.

Evelyn spends a few final moments with Lee before he leaves to save Marcus and Regan.
Before long, Lee joined her and carried her and their newborn baby to the barn, where he took them underground. Evelyn awakened from a nightmare with Lee standing at her side. He assured Evelyn that she was safe and that the creatures couldn't hear them underground. Evelyn then asked about Regan and Marcus, who were still outside somewhere. Lee assured Evelyn that he intended to find them. Evelyn looked over to their newborn baby and then said that she could've carried Beau, but he was so heavy. She felt that she should've been carrying him instead of him walking on his own. She then made Lee promise that he would protect their kids.
Evelyn later awakened to find the basement flooded from a busted water pipe. She looked over and saw her baby's crate floating, with a creature standing just a few feet away from him, having made its way into the basement. Evelyn quietly made her way over to the crib and retrieved her baby boy, who was mere inches from the creature. She slowly backed up and hid in a corner.
After a time, Evelyn made her way back to the house with her baby boy and into the basement, where she witnessed as Lee sacrificed himself to save Regan and Marcus.
Day 474[]
After reuniting with Regan and Marcus, Evelyn lead them into the basement. She sat Marcus in a corner with the baby as Regan used the high-pitched frequency from her hearing aid to hurt one of the creature. For the creature, the pain was so excruciating after Regan placed the boosted implant on a nearby microphone to magnify the feedback, that it collapsed. Painfully disoriented, the creature exposed the flesh beneath its armored head and renders itself vulnerable to a shotgun blast from Evelyn. Though they had managed to kill one, the sound of the gunfire drew more creatures in their direction, but Regan was ready with her hearing aid and Evelyn ready with the shotgun.
Later, after retrieving the air tank from the barn, Evelyn and the kids made their way to a rail yard, where they reunited with an old neighbor, Emmett. He told Evelyn and the kids that they couldn’t stay, as there weren’t enough supplies. Hoping to appeal to him, she showed him the baby inside the box.
Emmett inquired about the feedback from the microphone and how it seemed to irritate the creatures, but Evelyn didn’t exactly know the science behind it. Evelyn gave her condolences, assuming that Emmett’s family was dead. He revealed that his kids died the first day and that his wife, Nora, died just 11 weeks prior from an illness. Evelyn then asked Emmett if he knew that it was Lee when he saw the flame night after night. Emmett admitted that he knew, but he didn’t consider coming for them, because people had changed since the invasion had begun.
Day 475[]
The following day, Evelyn learned that Regan had left and went searching for a community after hearing the radio broadcast of "Beyond the Sea." Evelyn asked Emmett to go after her. She reminded Emmett that they were once friends and pleaded with him to go after Regan. He agreed and soon left to find her.
Day 476[]
Evelyn placed the baby in the box. Unfortunately, the tank was just about out of air and so, she decided to take a trip to the pharmacy on her own for supplies. Evelyn made her way over the sand path and across the bridge where Beau died. She placed her wedding ring on Beau’s headstone and proceeded towards the pharmacy. Evelyn eventually arrived at the pharmacy without incident. She gathered medication as well as two tanks of oxygen before leaving.
At night, Evelyn returned to the rail yard and discovered that a creature had made its way into the basement. She fired a single shot to draw the creature out. Once the creature joined her on the surface, Evelyn shot at one of the tanks, setting the creature on fire, though it didn’t kill it. The fire from the explosion caused the sprinklers to go off, which in turn allowed Evelyn to walk past the creature without detection. Evelyn made it into the basement, where she found Marcus unconscious in the bunker, though he awakened not long after. She then shut the bunker door without locking them inside, intending to wait until the creature left.
Day 477[]
Evelyn, Marcus, and the baby shared the single oxygen tank while they were forced to remain hidden inside the bunker. Evelyn exited the bunker, but quickly discovered that the creature was still near and ran back inside. However, she was unable to get the door closed and the creature reached inside in an attempt to grab them, but only managed to claw at Evelyn’s leg. As the creature clawed at Evelyn, a high-pitched frequency came from the radio, thanks to Emmett and Regan. Marcus then forced the creature to cower at the sound of the high-pitched feedback from the radio until he could reach the gun sitting on the table and fired a single headshot to kill the creature.
