Henri (presumably died October 7, 2021) was the leader of a small island colony of survivors who welcomed Regan Abbott and Emmett to the community. After a death angel made its way onto the island, the man helped Emmett and Regan reach a radio station to use Regan's hearing aid to weaken the creatures. However, after they arrived, the man was, presumably, killed by a creature after he spoke a bit louder about his decision to return to his settlement to protect his family. Emmett and Regan went on to achieve their goal of broadcasting Regan's hearing aid's frequency to a radio signal, allowing Regan to kill the creature, as well as allowing her brother, Marcus, elsewhere to protect their mother and their newborn brother by also killing a creature.
Biography[]
Death Angels invasion[]
Day 1[]
He appeared when he prevented Sam from coughing, which would've attracted Death Angels. He and Sam witnessed a Death Angel damaging display cases and breaking lights, causing the room to darken as the two remained silent to avoid detection. He escaped from a city.
Day 2[]
Henri leaves New York City via a boat along with some survivors. He hears and notices many cars going off and windows smashing. Henri then sees Sam and Eric, which leads him to tell the captain to stop the boat. Eric nearly makes it into the water, swimming to the boat with Frodo. After getting on the boat, Henri tells Eric, "It's okay; you're safe now." Eric hugs Henri and cries. Sometime after that, they along with some survivors managed to reach the Island safely by ship.
Day 476[]
On October 6, 2021, Henri along with the island's colonies welcomed Regan Abbott and Emmett to his community after they arrived on a boat. He surmised that they heard the song, "Beyond the Sea", over the radio and figured out that it was a guide to the island, but Emmett revealed that it was solely Regan who figured it out. The island man revealed that they've been on the island since the beginning of the Death Angels invasion of Earth. They arrived on the island the same way that Emmett and Regan had ā by boat. They were in the city when they heard the hurricane sirens. Once they learned that the creatures couldn't swim, the National Guard started loading people onto boats. Twelve boats were lined up on the dock, but only two got out into the island safely.
Day 477[]
The next day, when one of the creatures from the dock which trapped in a boat previous day began slaughtering the community. He was inside a house and Emmett putting two children (one of them was grabbed by Emmett and the other is Henri's son) in a safe place such as wardrobe. Shortly, he got into a car and drew the creature away from island colonies by honking the car which also signaling Regan and Emmett to join him for radio station. Henri drives the car to the radio station and honking few times to attract the creature. However, the creature managed to get on top of the vehicle and tore his car's rooftop before being thrown off. The three survivors reached the radio station, but the man feared that the creature had returned to the settlement and wished to return to protect his family. As Emmett attempted to convince him to stay, the creature ambushed them, swiping the man's legs from under him and digging its claws into his back. It then dragged him away to a presumably gruesome fate, as his terrible screams suggested. Regan and Emmett then quickly escaped inside which quickly alerted the creature by damaging wooden door and eventually used Regan's hearing aid to kill the creature as well as allowing others to do the same.
