Millbrook is a a small rural town in New York, near the sea. It was home to Beau, Evelyn, Lee, Marcus and Regan Abbott, as well as Emmett, his wife Nora and their two sons. The town, as well as many other locations on Earth, was invaded by Death Angels on June 18, 2020, resulting in the deaths of Emmett's sons, as well as Ronnie, a police officer in Millbrook and an acquaintance of Lee's. The Abbotts remained near Millbrook and lived on a farm until the 473rd day of the invasion, leaving after Lee sacrificed himself to save Marcus and Regan and a fire damaged some of their home. Evelyn later returned to the town and searched Roger's store for supplies.

Death Angels invasion[]
Day 1[]
Lee watches as Death Angels arrive near Millbrook.
On June 18, 2020, Earth was invaded by Death Angels. On that day, many in attendance at a Millbrook baseball game, observed a mysterious object in the sky. Soon after, the Death Angels tore their way across the town, killing many and attacking others, including the Abbott family. Beau, Evelyn, Lee, Marcus and Regan Abbott managed to escape the creatures, but their friend, Emmett, lost his two sons to the creatures. Also among the dead was Ronnie, a police officer and acquaintance of Lee, who died attempting to keep the Abbotts safe from one of the creatures.
Day 89[]
Lee is too late to save Beau.
On the 89th day of the invasion, the Abbotts made their way to an abandoned store in Millbrook, once run by Roger. They gathered supplies and medicine for an ill Marcus. Beau picked up a space shuttle toy with batteries that could have caused noise, but Lee stopped him and took the batteries out. After most of the family left the store, Regan gave the toy back to Beau. As the family made their way home, the noise from the toy was activated by Beau, who had placed the batteries back inside, unbeknownst to Regan. Lee attempted to save Beau's life, but was too late and Beau was killed by one of the creatures.
Day 474[]
On Day 474, after the death of Lee and after leaving her farm, Evelyn again visited Millbrook and went back to Roger's store for medical supplies, as Marcus was injured and her newborn son was in need of oxygen.

- The distance from Millbrook to the Abbott farm is unknown, but is possibly short, as the Abbott family complete can travel there on foot.
- In the store at the beginning of the first movie, all the chips or food that is wrapped in plastic are left untouched, due to the plastic wrappers causing noise.
