Sam's father was the father of Sam. During the Death Angels' invasion, he was mentioned by Sam, and was shown in a photograph at Patsy's Pizzeria. He played piano, and loved jazz.

According to Sam, her father played beautiful piano, and he would take her to a jazz club near Patsy's Pizzeria, and Sam would watch him play piano. After his performance, him and Sam would go eat pizza at Patsy's.
